The barn offers a rotation worming program.  The medication is supplied and administered to the horses at 7-week intervals.  The owners are notified approximately 7-10 days prior to treatment, and the charges are added to the boarding invoice.

A complete turnout schedule is posted daily on the barn bulletin board.  Your horse will have all-day turnout or half-day rotation, due to paddock availability and your horse’s temperament.  Mimi’s Meadow:  There is one large meadow for all-day turnout for the geldings. Piland Paddocks:  There are eighteen individual paddocks used for daily  turnout and four paddocks large enough for two horses to graze comfortably.  Casa Corrals:  There are two reinforced paddocks used for horses that need to graze alone.

Three full-time workers devote their days to keeping the facilities clean and maintained.  The workers are trained to watch for anything unusual with the horses’ behavior or appearance, and management is contacted immediately for observance. In case of an emergency, your vet information is on record and will be called immediately.  Should you or your vet not be available, the barn vet will be contacted.

Bedding is changed, water is kept clean and full, and the arena is groomed on a regular basis. Bed check is at approximately 9:00 p.m. each evening, just to make sure all is well.
