BuckBranch Farm is a new facility located in the southern edge of Dallas County. Ashley Arena measures 100x200 feet, is completely covered and is attached by covered walkway to a state-of-the-art stable containing 34 12x12 stalls. The barn also has two 12x12 wash bays with warm water for your horse’s comfort. There is a feed room, tack room, and office/bathroom complete with toilet and shower. Stalls on the outside aisles have windows and stalls on the inside aisles have openings above the door. Our covered arena has an unmatched lighting system, allowing you to ride well into the night.

Full care boarding at the BuckBranch Farm is just that – full care. Your horse’s stall is labeled with a name plate stating the names of both horse and rider, including a team affiliation if any. Also posted on his stall is a feed information card, stating the kind and quantity of feed your horse receives for both morning and afternoon feedings. If supplements are supplied, they will be added to your horse’s feed as requested. Sheeting and blanketing instructions are also posted during the winter months.

The barn offers a two-rotation worming program. The medication is supplied and administered to the horses at 7-week intervals. The owners are notified approximately 7-10 days prior to treatment, and the charges are added to the boarding invoice.

A complete turnout schedule is posted daily on the barn bulletin board. Your horse will have all-day turnout or half-day rotation, due to paddock availability and your horse’s temperament. Mimi’s Meadow: There is one large meadow for all-day turnout for the geldings. Piland Paddocks: There are six smaller paddocks used for rotation turnout, or for horses that need to graze alone. Stallion Station:
There are two reinforced paddocks used for stallion turnout.

Two full-time workers devote their days to keeping the facilities clean and maintained. The workers are trained to watch for anything unusual with the horses’ behavior or appearance, and management is contacted immediately for observance. In case of an emergency, your vet information is on record and will be called immediately. Should you or your vet not be available, the barn vet will be contacted.

Bedding is changed, water is kept clean and full, and the arena is groomed on a regular basis. Bed check is at approximately 9:00 p.m. each evening, just to make sure all is well.
