Children are naturally curious, and water is one
of the most intriguing hazards they will ever encounter. Kids
love to stomp through, splash, wade, drink and spray water.
They love to play with it in buckets or containers, play in the tub,
and play with the water out of a hose or faucet. Children can
do many interesting things with water and it is usually close at
hand. In Texas there has been a dramatic increase in the
number of backyard pools and a growing interest in water activities.
Swim Kids' teaching technique of aquatic survival skills is
extremely flexible, due to its one-to-one instruction. Each lesson
is custom tailored to meet the needs of your child. While the
teaching techniques and instructions are flexible, the water is not.
The consistency of the water makes it an excellent environment in
which to teach; the unforgiving nature of water, however, makes such
instruction absolutely necessary. A child's ability to act
instinctively in the face of an emergency may be the difference
between life and death.
